SHENGRUI-Transmission Longitudinal Platform FR8AT Series
The Longitudinal Platform FR8AT (Front-engine Rear-wheel drive 8-speed Automatic Transmission) series contains two core models: medium & low-torque type with 250–320 N.m and high-torque type with 500 N.m. This longitudinal 8-speed automatic transmission matches rear-wheel drive vehicle powertrains, featuring high load capacity and wide torque coverage. The maximum input torque of the two variants is 250–320 N.m and 500 N.m respectively.
In the detailed model name, “FR” represents Front-engine Rear-wheel drive layout, “8” means 8 forward gears, and “AT” stands for Automatic Transmission. This transmission shares the same platform as FR8HT P2 hybrid transmission, which can be upgraded to hybrid architecture on the basis of FR8AT structure.
